Painted simultaneously with "Filaments," "Fog" captures the literal sensations evoked by dense fog. This piece explores the merging of air and water, creating an ethereal and immersive experience. The painting emphasizes these basic elements in a more streamlined way than "Filaments", conveying a profound sense of unity over heterogeneity.

Through subtle variations in texture and tone, the painting invites viewers to feel the enveloping presence of fog. The "sameness" quality of light and shadow enhances the atmospheric phenomenon, reflecting the enveloping nature of such environments.

This piece continues my exploration of natural phenomena, focusing on the sensory and emotional responses they elicit.
